Most international flights arrive at Athens Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. The distance between the Airport and Nafpaktos is 225 kilometers.

Other airports more close to Nafpaktos is Airport of Preveza and Airport of Patras (Araxos). The distance between Preveza and Nafpaktos is 110 kilometers.

The distance between Araxos and Nafpaktos is 54 kilometers. Ryanair is one of few airlines that arrive at Araxos.

Rent a car at the Athens Airport

Currently there are five car rental companies operating at the airport. You can find them at the Arrivals Level of the Main Terminal Building.

Renting a car is one of the most convinient way to travel to Nafpaktos. The E94 that goes from the Airport to Korinthos consists of three to four laines in each direction.

Renting a car also gives you the freedom to access easily ancient sites such as Delphi and Olympia without waiting on a bus.

Bus

From Athens Airport: You take bus X93 to the end station, Kifisias. The bus stop is next to the entrance of Eleftherios Venizelos Airport (next to Exit 5 at the Arrivals Level). The bus runs every 35 minutes. Current price to KTEL: 5 euro.

From Kifisias Bus Terminal, 100 Kifissou Street, Athens you change to the Nafpaktos intercity bus (2 departures per day). During mars 2013 the bus departed at 07:15 and 15:30. At later or earlier hours you take the bus to Agrinion and change at Antirrion where you change to the local Nafpaktos bus. The Agrinion bus goes every hour. Current price: 19.70 euro.

Telephone KTEL Kifissou: 210 5129293.From Preveza-Lefkas Airport: The airport is located 3 km south of Preveza. Bus services run to Preveza and Lefkas. From the Lefkas/Preveza you take the bus (from KTEL) to Antirrio/Patras. From Antirrio you take the local bus to Nafpaktos. Antirrio is 10 kilometers from Nafpaktos.

Alternative way of travel is by car and ship from Italy (Venice or

Ancona) -Patras.

Drive through Europe and enjoy the Adriatic Sea and later on the Ionian Sea from the ship. When you arrive at Patras harbor its just 25 km to Nafpaktos.
